Sometimes dinner has to be made quick and rather than opt for the same old meals it’s great to have a book that can inspire you to cook something tasty in no time at all. Sainsbury’s have launched a new cook book the Quick Recipe Collection, which can help solve such dinner time dilemmas. It’s a collection of 100 recipes ready in 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Plus there are 50 tips, cheats and shortcuts to add to your cooking repertoire.
The Teriyaki Lamb with Noodles was the first dish I cooked from the book, I loved its simplicity and speed. The flavours were really good but my husband wanted a bit of spicy heat so he added a sprinkling of chilli flakes to his. I think beef would be excellent in this dish as well, so next time I’ll try that.
Whilst browsing through the book plenty of other dishes caught my eye. I definitely plan to make the Lamb Cutlets with Minted Spring Veg which looks like a speedy roast dinner. The Masala Chicken with Giant Couscous sounds divine, whilst the Chicken and Chorizo Jambalaya looks packed full of Louisiana style flavours.
I have a copy of Quick Recipe Collection by Sainsbury’s to giveaway.
